Q: How to level up Mages Guild?
Leveling up your Mages Guild skill line can only be done by collecting lore books in the world.
If you play on PC, I’d recommend getting the LoreBooks addon. As you can see in the image it will mark the location of every single lore book in your in-game map, which makes finding them very easy.
Even if you always explore the entire map and do all quests, I assure you you will miss out on many lore books regardless. There are about 2000 lorebooks scattered everywhere in the world, so it will take quite awhile until you gather them all (not that you have to).
You can of course simply go about your way and just level up without this interface addon, and once you’re max level and feeling bored you can always go back to collecting lore books and get those achievements.
