What is the best PvP class?

Q: What is the best PvP class?

With “only” 4 classes in Elder Scrolls Online, each of them is designed to excel at almost any content in the game. Classes also don’t confine you to a particular playstyle, so if you wanted to play a Sorcerer (mage) but use a Bow as you main weapon, you can. There are many different builds and play styles you can choose, so the “best PvP class” is not a simple answer.

I’ll give it a shot regardless.

First of all, I always tell everyone who asks to just play whichever class and playstyle they like best. Just because Templars make the best healers, if that playstyle or role isn’t appealing to you it’s quite possible you simply won’t enjoy playing the class, which leads to not enjoying the game.

Speaking of Templars, if I had to pick they would definitely be my last class for PvP combat. Sure they’re the best healers, but every class can heal in a pinch so they aren’t as required as one would think. Still this doesn’t mean you can’t PvP with a Templar.

If you only ever want to PvP in Cyrodiil in ESOTU then Sorcerers, Dragonknights and Nightblades are likely best picks, in no particular order. Each of these classes can hold their ground against anyone.
